Heidi's May

May was a month of wrapping things up for Heidi.  This was her last year of preschool before heading to Kindergarten in the Fall.  She has loved Mt. Bethel - all the teachers she's had, the friends she's made, the activities she's participated in - everything. And so have I.  Thankfully Rachel will be starting preschool there in the Fall, so I don't have to say good bye to the big yellow school yet.

Preschools keep up with elementary schools these days and so they had their own version of field day. Rachel and I went to watch and cheer them on. They had several inflatables
and played several relay games.

Heidi had a fun time.

And she always enjoys being with her friends.

Rachel would not be left out of the action. When it was all over and the class was getting organized to go back inside, Rachel took to jumping off the wall. Yep.

Heidi wrapped up another great year of preschool and officially graduated from Pre-K on May 17. They had a nice graduation ceremony in the church sanctuary complete with graduation caps and diplomas. It was a nice celebration.

Friends!!! Love these girls!!!

Ansley and Heidi will both be at East Side in the Fall. Yeah!
And the school year was wrapped up with their end of year party. They had a Mexican theme complete with sombreros, quesadillas & chips, and a pinata. A great end to a wonderful year!

Now to wrap up activities.  Heidi's last Spring soccer game was May 19.  She has really enjoyed playing soccer and plans to play again in the Fall.

One of her favorite positions is goalie!

The prized trophy.

Way to go Dolphins!  Great job girls!

Friends and teammates!

She's already looking forward to the Fall season.

Last, but not least, Heidi has been taking a ballet/jazz class this Spring.  Their recital was May 25. It was super cute. I think the video of her performance is too long to post on here, but Heidi and her friend did a great job - it was just the two of them in their class.

I think Heidi enjoyed doing her dance, but I think she enjoyed getting flowers the best!

And it got even better when she added a balloon to her flowers!

OK, so I'm beginning to realize where May went - and this is only one of three children (granted, she may be the busiest of the three). :-)  Stay tuned for the other two.
