We started our Thanksgiving weekend by spending Wednesday night and all of Thursday at my parent's house in Dahlonega. My entire family was able to be there and we had a good time together. We enjoyed a delicious meal together, watched some football, looked at Black Friday ads, played instruments, and the younger kids enjoyed some crafts.

Playing with cousins.Daddy and two of his girls. It was a fun day! So thankful we could all be together. We drove home Thursday evening, put the girls to bed, and then I was one of those crazy people at Target at midnight for Black Friday shopping. It was a little wild, but I was able to get the things I was looking for (none of them were "hot" items). I went to Target, Kohls, and Old Navy and was home at 3:30 AM. I slept in a little and then went to a few more stores later on Friday (at a much more reasonable hour). Jason took the girls to do a little shopping too. We met for lunch and then it was off to pick out our Christmas tree! The last several years we have bought our tree from our neighbor's tree lot. They are always really nice trees that last. The girls had fun walking through them all.
Now that we had a tree, it was time to start decorating. But part of doing the outside decorations included getting up all the leaves in the front yard. Which meant there were some pretty good piles to play in.
And Heidi & Rachel wanted to help with the inside decorations.
They never quite got this done, but they worked at it together for awhile. It was cute to watch. We are mostly decorated for Christmas - with the exception of ornaments on the tree. Hopefully that will happen this weekend.
